VOLUNTEER AT IACA
Volunteering at IACA is a great way to meet wonderful artists, learn more about art and make a difference. We make it easy to share your time and talent -- work on a project, help out at the office, or help with one of our special events. You can work a couple of hours each week on an ongoing project, come in one day or an afternoon each week to help in the office or volunteer during one of our markets.
Office Support Needed:
- Clerical assistance
- Marketing
- Fundraising
- Membership sales
- Develop artist bios
- Write for our publications
- Graphic design for publications
- Phone volunteers
- Help with mailings
Wholesale Market Support Needed:
- Greeters
- Registration of exhibitors (artists/wholesale/retail)
- Help exhibitors with set up and booth sitting
- Information Desk (local travel, tourism info, etc)
- Exhibitor Support - Booth Sitting, Get Coffee/Water
- Transportation - Run errands, transport people
- Photography
Awards & Banquet Support Needed:
- Check in art submitted for awards
- Assist judges and record winners
- Check in donated art for raffle/auction
- Staff ticket sales table
- Auction set up, sales, record sales
- Entertainment
- Photography
Times Volunteers are Needed:
- For the Market: 8 am until 6 pm
- For the Banquet: 6 pm until 10 pm with at least a 4 hour commitment
- For the Office: Monday-Friday anytime between 9AM to 5PM
Skills/knowledge Volunteer(s) Need:
- No requirements, just positive outlook and desire to help
- Experience handling art is a plus
- Good verbal and writing skills a plus (for registration support)
