G.
Both parties to the complaint will be informed of the decision of the
Board by USPS certified mail, return receipt requested (which will be kept
on file.)
V. Definitions of Acceptable Action

A.
PROBATION:
1.
The period of this penalty will be set by the Board.
2.
The member will continue to pay dues in a timely fashion.
3.
The member is not entitled to any of the following:
a.
use of IACA logo
b.
directory listing
c.
exhibitor status at markets
4.
The member will lose all accumulated market points
At the end of the probationary period, the Ethics Committee will consider
whether the individual or business so disciplined will 1.) be readmitted to
full membership status; 2.) have probation extended; 3.) be considered for
other action.
B.
EXPULSION:
Permanent termination of all membership privileges, and will come
only after the probationary period consistent with the period of the
penalty, in which the infractions resulting in probation
have not been
corrected.
VI. Appeals Process
A.
Should a party wish to appeal the decision of the Board of Directors,
the appeal shall be directed to the Chair of the Ethics Committee within
thirty (30) days from the date the party is informed of the Board’s decision.
The submission of an appeal will suspend the implementation of this
decision until the appeal is heard and a final ruling is made.

combined and closed

Executive Committee and the Ethics Committee, held in conjunction with a
